Welcome to International Admissions

Effective June 1, 2017, Cal State Apply will replace CSUMentor as the new CSU application for admission.

Transition from CSU Mentor to Cal State Apply-new!

Those who wish to apply to both undergraduate and post-baccalaureate programs for Fall 2017 are encouraged to complete their application by May 31st through CSU Mentor. Applications are considered completed when the applicant has: (1) completely filled out the application. (2) paid the $55 application fee, and (3) clicked submit. Incomplete applications cannot be processed.

CSU Mentor will close at midnight, May 31st, 2017, and will be replaced by Cal State Apply. Cal State Apply will accept applications for winter 2018.

Graduate Students

The Cal State system will not accept applications for Fall 2017. Those who wish to apply for Fall 2017 after May 31st must complete a paper application. The deadline to submit the paper application for Fall 2017 is June 19th. Note that some programs have earlier application deadlines.

Paper Application Process
  1. Download and complete the fillable PDF graduate application.
  2. Turn the completed application into the Office of International Admissions via email at international@csusb.edu .
  3. Once your application is received, an email will be sent that will contain your student ID number (Coyote ID) and instructions on how to create your MyCoyote student account.
  4. Pay the $55 application fee online through MyCoyote or at Student Financial Services (University Hall, room 035) at CSUSB.
  5. Provide the Office of International Admissions with a copy of the application fee receipt. If you paid online through MyCoyote, forward your email confirmation to international@csusb.edu . Include your name and student ID in the email. If you paid in person at Student Financial Services, bring a copy of the receipt to the Office of International Admissions, College of Education room 356.

Undergraduate Students

Cal State Apply will accept undergraduate applications for Fall 2017 until August 1st. The application will only have the option of undeclared major. Please choose this major, submit your application and an International Team member will contact you to obtain your desired major.

Those who wish to apply for Fall 2017 after August 1st must complete a paper application. The deadline to submit a paper application for Fall 2017 is August 28th.
